TERMS & CONDITIONS

AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRE-PAY.  THIS PREAUTHORIZATION DOES NOT ENSURE YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED.  ONLY UPON EMAIL CONFIRMATION FROM THE ARTIST AND COMPLETION OF YOUR MAKEUP QUESTIONNAIRE WILL YOUR APPOINTMENT BE FINALIZED AND ACCEPTED.  YOU FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT BY NOT COMPLYING TO THESE TERMS.

CELLPHONES:  Please NO cellphone usage while being serviced.  This will ultimately prolong your scheduled appointment time if I have to work around your cell phone.  I will reciprocate the same courtesy. 

DEPOSIT:  Non-refundable, transferable up to one year.  To be paid at the time of booking. Only after paying the deposit AND completing your confirmation questionnaire, is your appointment reserved.

PAYMENT BRIDAL PARTIES:  Once you are given your party's itinerary, you will be sent an invoice of the remaining balance.  This must be paid 48 before services begin unless discussed otherwise.  IF PAYING CASH full payment is expected to be made upon MUA arrival, as one payment.  This is to ensure the makeup is completed on time and is not delayed due to any payment issues.  Payment terms will be discussed when confirming event details.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:  If your event is postponed/cancelled because of inclement weather, the deposit paid can be transferred within a one year period. The date is subject to availability, non-refundable.

CANCELLATION BY CLIENT:  You forfeit your deposit in the event you cancel your appointment.  Refunds are at the discretion of the artist.  Refunds may have a processing time of 15-30 days.  You are required to complete your questionnaire 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.  If you fail to communicate with the Artist or do not complete your questionnaire within the allotted time, it will be considered an assumed cancellation and you forfeit your deposit.

CANCELLATION BY ARTIST: In the event of an emergency by the Artist, you will be contacted and your deposit will be refunded by the original form of payment. 

48HR NON-COMMUNICATION RULE: You will be sent a confirmation questionnaire via email upon completion of deposit.  You MUST complete this questionnaire PRIOR to your scheduled appointment.  Your appointment is subject to cancellation in the event you do not complete the required questionnaire within 48 hours before your appointment time (see deposit terms).  Failure to communicate with the Artist after multiple attempts are made via email and text will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and your appointment will be cancelled.

DAY OF CANCELLATION/NO SHOW:  In the event you cancel your appointment the day of without good cause or you are no show, a $30 fee is assessed per person.  If you chose not to pay this fee, you and your contact information will be placed on a banned list and services by Beauty by Reneé LLC will be unavailable for any future bookings.

PHOTOS:  Only upon your verbal consent will before photos, after photos or a combination of both, be taken.  These photos may be used for commercial use including promotional advertising and marketing.  Impermanent blemishes may be removed upon request or at my discretion.  No photos will be dramatically altered.

LATE FEES:  A $15 fee applies if the client is more than 15 minutes late.  The client forfeits their deposit and appointment is subject to cancellation if they are 20 minutes late.

CONVENIENCE FEES:  Additional charges are added at the artists' discretion.  These convenience charges may include an up-charge on travel due to holiday traffic, before or after hour charges, change of location for Bride's makeup, staying for touch ups, hiring an assistant for large parties, etc.  These charges will be added to your final bill.

TRAVEL:  All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by the client.  Costs may include, but are not limited to parking, airfare, hotel, and taxes.  Overnight accommodation, $125 budget min per night or arranged by client.

 

COVID COMPLIANT:  All brushes are deep cleansed and sanitized before all scheduled appointments with antibacterial and antimicrobial cleansers.  There is no double dipping, skin to product contact and disposable applicators are NEVER used twice.  All products are kept sanitary and brushes are disinfected in between each use when servicing parties of 2 or more.  I do not wear a mask, nor require my clients to.  You are welcomed to do so but will need to remove it during the application.  If you require your Makeup Artist to wear a mask, please do not book with Beauty by Renee LLC.

 

LIABILITY:  Any skin conditions or allergies should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application.  Products to sanitize and cleanse brushes are provided by Dante Disposables.  Beauty by Reneé LLC is licensed and insured, 2017-2021.
